Project Scope

BFADB is designed around the final Battle for Azeroth client state. Content introduced from Vanilla through Battle for Azeroth is intended to be represented as it exists in client build 8.3.7.35662.

Data

Client DB2 data extracted from build 35662 is the client-data source of truth. Compatible BfaCore world data can later supplement server-side relationships such as spawns, vendors, loot and quest relations.

Future Integration

The database architecture is intended to support the website first and later BFADB tools such as addons, Discord integration and an API.
